Value CRM provides for two types of forecasting
- Predictive Forecasting :
Predictive forecasting is purely based on the numbers provided by the sales officers. The approach is bottom-up i.e. based on the region’s analysis, the sales officers commit a number they can deliver. This figure is adjusted and approved by the first line managers and the forecast for the region is submitted to the territory manager. This process continues all the way upto top and the final adjustment to the forecast is made by the person responsible for the sales numbers when then final forecast is derived.
